A skip that never got weighed
A sub-contracted job in south Liverpool came back with no transfer note. We paid to trace the load ourselves. Since then, our own paperwork travels with every job.
-
02
Registered with the Environment Agency
Applied for our Upper Tier Waste Carrier permit. Every driver keeps a copy in the cab; the CBDU number sits on your quote email and both back doors of the van.
-
03
Built the ticket log
Every load gets photographed at the transfer-station gate, weighed on the site scales, and filed by postcode within 24 hours. This page shows one month of that log, redacted.

Postcode-first pricing followed
Once we had our own weight data by area, we could quote L15 differently from L1 — mileage, tip fees and access all vary. Fixed prices before you book replaced on-site estimates.

Now you see what we see
The dashboard the crew uses at the depot is the same one that generates your quote. When we say 07:00–09:00 in L23, it is because a van is already routed there.
“Asked them to send the transfer note after the job — most firms fob you off, they had it in my inbox by 6pm. 340kg, ticketed, gate photo, the lot. Sound.”
— Danielle, Aigburth L17 · March 2026
“Property manager for 14 flats around L8, I need audit trails, not promises. Their receipts are cleaner than my accountant’s. Six-year retention as standard.”
— Marcus, letting agent · Toxteth L8 · January 2026
